Eligible Mississippi Counties "Mississippi Chapter of the Year" Year 3

The AYC Event Planning Committee is formed and announced 1 year in advance of the annual Agriscience College and Career Fair, It is responsible for planning the details of the event each year, including the location, the venue, the program, the luncheon, project displays, the luncheon, the booths, the celebrity guests, the awards ceremony, and the project judging. The chair makes a monthly report to the BCS board of directors.

Scheduling Coordinator

Each week the scheduling Coordinator reviews and posts the scores of all participating students, tabulates the chapter totals, and the cluster totals, and publishes this information to social media. In addition, the scheduling coordinator notifies chapter members of activities and events, and the project status of each student project in each chapter, and publishes weekly an activities calendar for each chapter. Works closely with area coordinator..

The agriscience college and career fair event manager negotiates all arrangements with vendors and suppliers, special guests, program participants, student advisors, volunteers, and judges. Handles all banners and signage, caterer, and venue details. Orders and selects trophies and prepares certificates. Forms and organizes the event planning committee, amd oversees its work leading up to the date of teh event..
